It's a Brand New Year

And that brand is Trump and one of his biggest supporters is Vladimir Putin.

Donald is enamored with Vlad

Their relations are just a bit odd

They are good buddies yet,

They've never met

They are like two peas in a pod.

Vladimir grabs countries when possible

Donald grabs just the first syllable

Donald's lost at sea,

Vlad's ex KGB

And plays Mr. Trump like a fiddle.

Holiday Thoughts

By now it's tradition, and must be observed.

Holiday weight gain's no fable

I resist as much as I'm able

But festive eating

Is diet defeating

With temptation laid out on the table.

Chicago Cubs fans waited close to a century for a reason to celebrate.  Let's hope the Democrat's suffering is over much more quickly.

It was bad but the end is now here

I apprehend the next one with fear

The Trump situation 

Will dampen celebration

But I wish you a Happy New Year!
