I don’t feel like working today

I’d like to stay home and play

Relax and have fun,

There’s too much to get done

I’d just work around the house for no pay.

I try to rekindle the fire

Some mornings I lack the desire

I need something new

A different point of view

Perhaps it’s time to retire.
